How Does Our Duplication Work?

We provide small runs for cassette duplication. You can choose from a run of 10 or a run of 25. With every run you will receive the cassettes with a custom label as well as a cassette case with a custom J card.

We record every cassette on a brand NEW cassette (we do not recycle shells or tapes), and record the cassettes individually as to produce the cleanest and highest quality sound.

The tape used is NAC FerroMaster C456 Type I Super Ferric

How Does Our Label Work?

If you choose to become a part of our label, you will pay a ONE time fee. With this fee you will...

Be featured on our social media
Get 1 cassette mailed to you to see and hear what your finished product shipped is
Be listed on our Bandcamp where we sell cassettes from our label (You will also get access to Bandcamp Pro by being on our label)

IF your cassette sells on our Bandcamp you will get $4 per cassette sold and be mailed a check from Citronel Sounds. We will handle all sales and shipping for cassettes sold (checks will be mailed monthly). We do NOT guarentee that your music will sell through us, and will only do the initial promotion on our social media.

Can You Choose The Color Of Your Cassette Shells?

We typically offer about three different colors, however, we can get a variety of different colored cassette shells. If you are interested in a color NOT listed on our website, email us and we will send you the options available to us. If we have to order that specific color, there will be an extra 5-10 days added to your lead time.

How Long is the Tape Length?

Our cassettes have a 40 minute tape length (20 min on side A and 20 min on side B). If you are looking for tape length that is shorter or longer please email us. We will be able to customize accordingly, but if we have to order it there will be an extra 5-10 days to your lead time.

What Social Media Are You Posted On?

If you decide to be apart of our label, we will promote you on our social media platforms. The platforms include Instagram and TikTok. We will work with you on what's included on the social media post so you will be able to choose if your album cover, a different image, or even a music video plays in it. You will also be able to tell us what song you would like to be featured specifically. Please check out our social media to see what some examples of our posts include.

PLEASE NOTE: We want everyone to have the opportunity to shine on our social media and will only post ONE band a day so as to not have anyone over looked. When you join our label you will receive an email with what day we will post your band on social media so you know exactly when to expect it.

What Are The Lead Times?

If you choose from our instock options, our lead times are 5-10 days from when we get all the information we need from you!

What We Need From You?

Once you have become a part of our label and/or purchased a cassette duplication you will need to email us your music as well as a completed J Card template and Cassette Label Template.

Why Are Options Out Of Stock?

While some options (like joining our label) require little material to produce, there is still a lot of work to be done on our end. Because posting on social media, adding information to our website/bandcamp, and duplicating cassettes take time, we limit our inventory to ensure our lead times our relevant and not bite off more than we can chew.
